Black and white (lighting)


Light from the top

The photo is captured using light from the top of the object which is pointed down. The photo has very limited shadows which is not stratched due to the position of the light shone to it. The bottle's composition which is a vertical lines shows the strength of the photo and the bottle cap that is placed diagonally brings out the dynamic energy.



Side lights

Side light is used for this photo. This can be seen by the shadows that is slanted diagonally to the side. By using the side lights, the photo conveys depth and also texture. This can be seen by the shadow which brings out the depth of the photo and the texture can be seen from the bottle cap and also the shells. The side light also emphasize the dimension of the object taken and it can be seen from the bottle that has more dimension compared to the photo that is taken using light from the top.

The Decisive moment

Fascinated

A child looking at the object found in the vase with his expression that shows how innocent a child can be. The child looks as if he is fascinated by the object that he is looking at. The picture composition is captured using the rule of thirds where the child is standing at the right side of the picture and looking upwards. The technique used is vertical lines which are found both on the vase and also the child. It implies the power and strength of this picture. The facial expression that is captured shows how interested the child is with the object which is shown from the eyes.


Passion


A man who is practicing his skills in football. He’s trying to kick the ball which is coming to him with much passion and skill. It shows how much passion the man has towards football. Rule of thirds is used for the composition of this picture where the human object is found on the right side. The technique used is vertical lines. This is found on the man who is about to kick the ball and thus showing us the power that is within him.



CHILDHOOD
Everyone has his or her own childhood memories. Therefore, this picture is trying to capture the childhood memory of these two children who is amazed by the book. The boy is sharing his knowledge with his sister by reading her the book. This thus shows that knowledge should be shared and not kept alone. The composition of the picture is rule of thirds. The technique used is diagonal lines which portray action that is shown by the boy who is reading the book and dynamic energy that is captured within both of them.



Talent

Everyone has his or her own talent. This picture captures someone who is playing a classic instrument which we seldom see nowadays. The seriousness in the face of the player shows how much interest he has in the music that is played. As for the composition of the picture, rule of thirds is used. For the technique used to capture the picture, both vertical lines that are shown by the man sitting and also diagonal lines can be found on the instrument. Therefore it captures the action of the man playing the instrument with much strength.
